Jeśli planujesz zwiedzanie Waszyngtonu to polecam ten hotel. Zlokalizowany jest naprzeciwko stacji metra z której dostaniesz się szybko i wygodnie w każde miejsce w tym na lotnisko. Biały Dom to 5 min spaceru od hotelu. W pobliżu sklep spożywczy oraz bardzo dużo restauracji. Pokoje są czyste i przestronne. Wyposażone są w klimatyzację,,, telewizor, sejf, mikrofalówkę, żelazko, deskę do prasowania. Śniadanie smaczne i typowo amerykańskie jajecznica, kiełbaski, tosty, bajgle, słodkie bułki itp.

We had a great day at the downtown Hilton Garden Inn. I had specifically booked it due to the proximity of the McPherson Metro rail station, but unfortunately it was closed over Christmas week for maintenance. We still had no issues walking or taking Uber to numerous attractions and restaurants in the area.||If you opt to drive or rent a car, note that parking is around $56 per day. It wound up being cheaper for us to walk or take a combination of Uber and Metro rail. We did rent a car from the Hertz location at the nearby Westin for one day to go to some further away places and dinner in Baltimore, but made sure to return it that night so we didn’t have to pay for parking.||There is a breakfast buffet that will run you around $25 which is pretty good. We did indulge one day, but there is a Starbucks and small café right across the street. If you’re looking for something lighter and cheaper.||Service at the hotel was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you have status with Hilton, you are able to use their electronic key, which makes life much easier.||The rooms were roomy, and the bed was very comfortable. I would have liked to have had a table in the room for us to eat on Christmas night when we had to opt for Chinese delivery since our dinner reservations were a bust due to overbooking at the restaurant. I also would’ve liked to have had access to an HDMI port on the TV to use my personal streaming device. Most hotels seem to give you access to an HDMI port, but at this hotel, the TV was mounted to the wall and you could not reach Back behind it. A 3 foot HDMI extension on all the TVs would have been a most welcome amenity.||All in all, based on our experience, I would highly recommend this for a visit to Washington DC. The location is literally only a seven minute walk from the front of the White House.

The location is amazing. But the bad part is:
Elevators: Only 2 of the 4 elevators were running. Could take 15 minutes to go up or down.
Water Damage: Hallways were full of blowers, and were super noisy. Rooms were clean but the getting through the blowers and down the elevators was like walking through a construction zone.
Restaurant: They want to charge you breakfast buffet (pricey), even though they had a menu and all I wanted was oatmeal.
Service: All the folks were nice.
Website: No place to express my frustration so I'm doing it on Google.
Payment: They charged me before I even arrived, so I had little chance to negotiate my stay.

Comfortable hotel, located within a 15 minute walk of the National Mall. Rooms were nicely appointed, bed and pillows were comfortable. The lobby had a *very* strong scent. It felt like someone had gone overboard with a room spray or diffuser - could practically taste it! The pool was small, but still enjoyable for the kids. |The price for valet parking (there is no self-park option at the hotel) was $56.00/night with an additional "garage tax" of $10.08/night.

First, the good: the Hilton Garden Inn is in a good location with Metro access directly across the street and multiple restaurants nearby.

Next, the mediocre: the check-in process was quick but not at all friendly nor helpful. I explained it was my first time staying at the hotel and asked if there was anything to know. The person told me about their restaurant and nothing else. There was no one else behind me, and yet the person seemed like he just wanted me to leave. I did eat breakfast at the hotel, and the service was fine. Breakfast was good (made to order omelet) with the buffet, but high prices for very basic food. Room cleaning was okay but not great.

Last, the bad: water pressure is abysmal. I have very short hair and it still took a while to get the shampoo washed out in the shower. The windows are thin and have no sound proofing. So, you get to hear everything on the street which is loud at night, and ruthless people who honk horns at 3 AM.

I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and service was wonderful. Location was also great! Special shout out to the evening supervisor Dannie for his outstanding customer service!!! He personally took a package to UPS for me that had not been picked up (after I arranged for UPS pick up at the hotel and they never showed). This saved me a tremendous amount of stress. I am grateful for his outstanding customer service!!

Great location. Friendly staff. Got in late so ate at the restaurant and it was very good compared to usual hotel dining. The hotel is a little dated and run down and the room wasn't the cleanest and some towels were missing, probably a minor oversight by housekeeping. We had a king suit and the suit doesn't compare to other suits we've had in other hotels. Overall pretty good and not a bad value.
