I stayed there 23-25 May 2024 while I was in town from Colorado. Just now had the chance to write this review. The room was amazing, quiet and comfortable with an amazing view. The staff was efficient and mostly friendly, I had no issues and this hotel is walking distance to a Walmart and plenty of food options, plus easily accessible and ample parking. Next time I am in town, this will be my first option, I usually chose Hyatt Place in any city I visit because I very rarely have any issues with the hotel, staff and rooms.

The Pros: The location was easy enough to get to from the highway, and there are a few different food choices nearby. The staff was friendly and the hotel was fairly quiet at night.

The Cons: The couch had 2 disturbingly large stains, the bathroom door latch was missing the handle, and wouldn't even lock if you turned the shaft, and the shower came with a few pre-installed hairs stuck to the wall. (No pic, because I was showering ?) Also, the outlets near the bed were so worn out that our changing blocks kept falling out, and the TV only had about 5 channels that worked. One of the beds was comfortable enough, but the other one was broken down on the sides, so unless you laid right in the middle, you tend to roll off the side.

If you're looking for a relatively cheap place to sleep, it's OK. If you're looking for a high-quality place to spend a few nights, I'd probably pass.

This hotel needs to decide if it’s a Hyatt or a Motel 6. The check in process takes an hour and a half! One person at check in guest. Not sure why there’s no help and every person takes half an hour or more to check in! Ridiculous! The hot food and drinks at breakfast are like warm to cold every single day. One day they have actual silverware, most days it’s plastic. The shiny, plastic coated, squeaky styrofoam plates and bowls are disgusting and belong at a motel 6. The shower head is so clogged with minerals you can barely bathe, and the water pressure is nonexistent. There has been no manager on site. The lobby smells like smoke 2/4 mornings. The rooms are nasty! Bring a black light to confirm. Some of the staff if good, others are rude. You can do better and so can this hotel!
AND, as you can see by their lame, cookie cutter response to my review, they missed the entire point! The check in line wasn’t too long, the check in GIRL was completely INCOMPETENT as are their breakfast staff and housekeeping!

Awesome place to stay. Service was wonderful from housekeeping to front desk to the breakfast Service. Most of all Vincent in the front desk was such amazing help when my daughter left her jacket behind after check out!

The young man at the front desk was rude. The room we reserved 6 weeks in advance wasn't available due to 'mechanical' problems that we later discovered was them giving away all the rooms before we arrived despite our credit card guarantee. Rooms are old and tired. Breakfast area is small and cramped. Parking fee is ridiculous. Holiday Inn or Overton are better choices.

Amazing service and super comfortable rooms we stayed in room 424 with a king size bed and sofa bed everything was great with the room only thing was the bathroom glass door wouldn’t lock for privacy. Other than that everything was exceptional and best breakfast I’ve had in any hotels by far !! Definitely will stay again!

Usually stay at the Overton but for the price I’ll be staying here from now on. Rooms are in par with Overton (actually less run down). Love the sitting area in the room. Lobby is much nicer at Overton but I don’t go there to hang out in lobby. Free breakfast, another plus. Nothing special but decent. Need a waffle machine. Went downstairs in evening to get milk expecting to pay but it was free. Overall great experience.

Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Fridge worked. Pillows were comfortable. The only thing missing were some stir sticks for our morning coffee. Breakfast was really nice. I also liked being able to use my phone to unlock the door.
