Clean. Friendly staff. Nice hot breakfast.

We stayed here multiple times and loved it. The indoor pool was a blast and we can't say enough about the front desk staff!

2 Thumbs down!! STAY AWAY!! This is the second time staying this year and it’s just as bad as the last. In May, we arrived after checking in on the app and choosing our room. When we got there, they said they didn’t have a reservation for us. They said the whole system was down with all of the Hiltons (found out that wasn’t true) and they would have to give us a different room. So they gave us a card key and a room number, we go to the room and walked in on people in their Skivies getting ready for bed. We apologized and went back to the lobby where other people were having the same experience. After a long day of travel and being tired, maybe an hour later they finally had a room. It was a mess.
Fast forward to October. I booked 2 rooms, checked in on the app. Got to the hotel and guess what, they only had one room for us. I told the guy behind the desk that I checked in on the app and chose both room and the room number I should have had. I showed him the confirmation that I screen printed in my phone. He proceeds to tell me he doesn’t have me in that room and tells me the full name of the person who now has my room. Then he says that the management sometimes hand picks rooms and changes them after people have already checked in online. He was rude to me, told me he couldn’t do anything that I would have to take another room and talk to the GM in the morning. Then he asks me why I needed to have that room anyway. I said because it’s the one I chose and I had a large group with kids and wanted them close. While I’m standing there, Couple comes down and says that they just walked in on people in the room they were assigned. Sound familiar? Yep. So he tells me he needs to help them first, stops helping me and tells me I need to stop talking because there is nothing he can do anyway. So then he leaves to go walk the other couple to the new room that is hopefully not occupied. The reason I checked in online is so when I got to the hotel, we could just go right to the room after getting card. This took over 45 minutes to straighten out. He said the GM would be in at 7am and I could talk to her. So I go down the next morning and she’s not there. They said she’d be there at 7:30. I waited as long as I could but by 8:15 she still wasn’t there. Then they said she had car problems and she could call me. But, I’m at a convention and would be unavailable for calls all day. So I spoke with the not manager at the desk who basically didn’t seem to care so much. Just don’t stay here. Walking in on strangers is not safe. Go anywhere else.

This was the second time booking at this hotel, and definitely the last. After arriving at the hotel, I was informed that they would not recognize our emotional support animal as a service animal because it was a CAT and would have to pay a $75 fee. Although this is Hampton Inn policy, they could but would not waive the fee. I stayed at another Hampton Inn the night before with no issue as it's left to the discretion of the front desk person. I decided to not pay the fee and go next door to the Hilton, which is under the same ownership and had no issue. They welcomed us in with no additional fees.||I went back the next morning to see the manager, who wasn't available the night before and she informed me that she would look into a refund, but it's been over 2 weeks, and nothing has been communicated. She did state that they have the means to waive the fee but decided not to. I am not overly concerned with the lost $150 as I made the decision not to stay there, but greed over a $75 pet fee for a 2.5lb cat has lost a customer for life. ||If you're in the area and traveling with an animal, the Hilton next door is your place to stay!

Very nice hotel! The rooms were spacious, and clean, the staff was so nice and the breakfast was great. Right by the interstate but I couldn't hardly hear the noise I have to sleep with the fan on anyway and I barley heard a semi go by. If you have the windows open then yes its loud. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature clean and always tidy. Definitely staying here again soon! Not too far from Colorado springs and Denver.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Castle Rock for almost a month while waiting on our house.

During that time we captured the following observations:

Pros
- Staff is amazing, from front desk to cleaning. Everyone took pride in their job and the place was cleaned very well.
- Rooms were spacious, modern, and accepted digs which was clutch in our case
- location is good with just a short drive to the outlets and downtown Castle Rock
- Rooms were affordable

Cons
- Being right off the interstate, it tends to get noisy but quiets down at around 10 at night
- The building is not well insulated between floors. The noise from above sounded like elephants tap dancing. We were consistently awakened by noise from upstairs. Recommend you get a 4th floor room.
- Weekends are quite busy

So the service was decent. Their digital keys weren't working. So I couldn't do self check in. Our door had a large gap so a lot of hall way light came in compared to normal. Also our sink leaked. Beds are firm which is not my favorite style. The service was good though. Prices were fair.

I have always had very positive stays at Hampton Inns throughout the country until last night. The hotel had very little soundproofing and the cars whizzing by were loud. The bed was broken and one side was significantly lower than the other. We didn’t find out until we flushed the next morning that the toilet was backed up from the previous tenant. Yuck! All in all not the stay we usually enjoy.

The room was OK, the bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were a little thicker than a towel. The hot tub was hot, but the green stuff growing on the tile was a little disturbing. The motor was super loud through the holes and cracks in the floor around the hot tub. If I'm ever in Castle Rock again, I'm going to look at other hotels.
