The room. was nice, the bathroom a bit small, but what we were most impressed with was the employees and food. We were there for the Dallas Market and due to the weather, all restaurants and food deliveries were closed. The staff fed us all very well. The manager, Josh, bartender, Jose and restaurant staff Ginger and Maria were all awesome!! We don’t know where we have had better service. The drinks and pork chops were delicious. Good employees are hard to find, Hilton, you got some good ones!

Extremely disappointed in this hotel mainly the service of the manager Josh. I’m a Hilton honors member for 25+ yrs and a diamond member for prob half of that and never been treated with such mediocre service that it made my diamond status not mean anything. The ac in the room was extremely loud and with a toddler it was a struggle sleeping. I was also told that since I booked the room thru my American Express platinum membership that my diamond status doesn’t mean anything which is crazy!
Overall I don’t recommend staying here the Hilton up the street is better.

I stayed at the Hilton Double Tree last night and somebody walked into my room in the middle of the night (midnight or 1 am -I was asleep). Thank goodness I had the wall latch or this person would have entered into my room. Either someone had a key to my room or was testing doors to see if they could get in. Either way, don't stay here because it's not safe. My reasonable expectation when booking a hotel room is that nobody will enter unannounced, especially in the middle of the night when I'm sleeping. If my door wasn't latched from the wall, who knows what could have happened. I called the front desk immediately and the night manager wasn't helpful. She asked if I gave my key out (which I didn't) and then asked if I didn't close the door all the way. I guess my assumption is that the door closes automatically after I push it closed and that nobody else would have access to my room. Instead of apologizing the night manager just told me that she needed to hang up. I told the front desk associate in the morning and eventually called the manager and they said they would look into it. I just don't think that's an appropriate response when strangers are attempting to enter guests rooms. I could have been robbed or assaulted as I was sleeping when this occurred. What woke me up was the light from the hallway entering into the room. I just feel like this issue should be taken more seriously and felt the hotel's management didn't respond with the appropriate urgency to rectify this issue.

Our room was a good size. We had a king room that in addition to the bed, had a desk, sofa, & arm chair. The staff we competent, friendly, and helpful, especially our wait staff member for the breakfast buffet. We enjoyed the many offerings at the breakfast buffet, as well as the option to order from the menu. The hotel is dated in many areas, but clean and has expansive spaces, broad hallways with sitting areas, workout room, laundry area, and an enclosed courtyard with a swimming pool and sitting areas. I felt safe and would stay again.

I stay here for work on an almost monthly basis largely because of two employees on the Food and Beverage side Jose and Maria. Jose somehow maintains an entire bar full of people while also running back and forth from the kitchen to get food. Maria always has a positive attitude early in the morning. Josh at the front desk always seems to go the extra mile.

I chose this hotel first for its location. My son lives 5 minutes from here so it was easy for us to get together for dinner and fellowship after our work day

Secondly I selected this hotel because it is a Hilton property and I am Diamond status so I get $15 credit for use on food/breakfast

The breakfast buffet was clean and very good tasting. The staff was attentive
The property seemed secure and safe

Location to downtown and things I wanted to see was excellent.

I got upgraded to a suite. The bed slept amazingly well, in fact all DoubleTree's do for some reason.
My room was clean and I had no complaints as the staff at the hotel took good care of me

Rooms are extremely small, old, and dirty. Furniture is damaged, bathrooms are tiny and gross. There were bugs in the bathroom. The tub floor had been weirdly painted. The carpet in the room was disgusting and there was sauce/food on the nightstand that hadn't been cleaned. Parts of the ceiling were coming down. The room smelled like urine and mildew and the windows had mold all over them. My friend and I both had allergy (breaking out in hives) and asthma attacks due to the room conditions and dustiness of the room. We ended up only staying one night and got another room at The Westin, which was amazing. I do not recommend staying here at all.
