Probably the most disappointing Marriott property I've stayed at. The room although appeared clean had an odor of chlorine(no pool on site) and the bathroom smelled stale and like urine. There was no cleaning service so we had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper 3 days into our stay and we had to empty our own trash. Staff was pleasant enough but definitely did not go out of their way. Would not recommend this hotel.

I want to praise Christian Jones, Assistant General Manager. He understood our needs and was patient and polite and helpful. We needed a special access room. Instead of dismissing us he worked to get us what we needed. Thank you. Customer service like this is the difference!

When you walk into the room it smelt so nice? Not sure what it was sandalwood, ceder chips ? The beds incredible slept like a baby. The front desk and maid service both very nice and helpful.

Hello, my name is Doneisha McMillian approximately around 9:15pm 01/18/2025 there was a incident between your front desk worker Sashell and my husband who was standing in line to pay for a extra night, she let someone else ahead of him didn’t even acknowledge he was in line. The incident escalated once he received the new card and asked what to do with the first set of room keys and she asked why he was yelling, my husband responded that he is partially deaf and she shrugged her shoulders as if she didn’t care. I then went down and noticed there were a lot of guest in the lobby very loud to ask for a manager and she gave me a card and I asked for her to write her name on the card and she refused to give it which was ok because I saw it on her name tag, she was very nasty pointing her finger in my face when I asked her to write her name down. As a public worker for your company her attitude is really rude and nasty , my husband is very offended and hurt that she was so discriminate towards him and his disability and I’m even more offended that I had to witness her disturbing behavior instead of apologizing she made the situation worse. I would like to escalate this issue to higher ups or cooperate. Her ignorance should not be tolerated at any Marriott . When we travel we book with Marriott and we’ve never had to deal with such ignorance or discrimination.

Property is newly renovated. Food was great amazing staff and wonderful cocktails. Pool Is still undergoing renovation but everything about this property is great. One bedroom suites are equipped with white noise, machines lavender mist or the pillows earplugs and a miniature glass cake dish with a complementary snack and a thank you card Just a genuine great stay close to everything walking distance to AstraZeneca

The rooms are nicely decorated. Beds are hard and not up to Marriott standards. Rates are twice the price for what they’re worth. Pool closed. No hot tub. No free breakfast. Food expensive in lobby with limited choices. Asked for new set of towels to be dropped off in room. Never brought them. First room they gave us had strong chemical smell that burnt your eyes and throat. Had to ask for a different room. There is a nice park behind hotel with hiking trails down to Brandywine Creek worth it to check out.

We booked a block of rooms at Courtyard for our wedding weekend. Cristina from sales was very responsive. This was great option for our guests.
