We had our wedding block here in October and the service could not have been better. The bridal suite is STUNNING and huge, I toured a lot of the DC area hotels looking at bridal suite options and this suite was not only one of the better priced but also the best size and aesthetic! It has recently been renovated and is seriously gorgeous. All of the bridesmaids and family were raving. The balcony with a Washington Monument view? Plus two bathrooms! Plenty of space and outlets, and lots of natural light for hair and makeup and breakfast, breakfast was also in the separate kitchen area which I loved! Truly could not think of a better place to get ready. We worked with Riva on the block and the bridal suite and could not have a better experience, she even thought to send up two extra full length mirrors to the suite. All of our guests raved checking out about how great the stay was and how kind the staff was. We had shuttle buses for wedding pick up and drop off and it was so easy, they have a little pull off which makes it perfect, and we just let them know ahead of time and they coordinated and made sure it all ran smooth for pick up/drop off. They also have taxis ready and waiting which is so handy. The Madison made it the perfect DC weekend.

Don't go to their Marketplace. The staff are not helpful in the slightest. I wasn't told there was complimentary coffee in the lobby and never saw it. So, I walked up to the counter and asked the attendant for a black coffee. I was charged $5.
My friend walked up to the counter a moment later and asked for a black coffee from a different attendant and she politely pointed him to the free coffee behind us.
I was dumbfounded. What a rip-off and how unhelpful the staff member was for me. Great start to my morning. The coffee tastes burnt as well.

Oh and then I was quickly yelled at for playing their baby grand piano that was left open in the lobby on the 2nd floor. Why is there no sign saying not to play it?

Picture from our beautiful view of the room.

We had a great stay at the Meridien on a weekend, booked via Hotel Tonight. We loved the room. Very clean, spacious and nicely furnished. The only thing which could have been better was the view, but since we booked via a discount site it was clear that we wouldn’t get an upgraded view

We were able to stay basically in the heart of DC within walking distance of so many places! Super convenient.

Best part was working with Olivia who was incredibly helpful during our stay and was an absolute delight to work with.

Looking forward to my next work trip and staying here.

Outstanding hotel that's very convenient to where I need to be when in town. The staff here are excellent. Friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The lobby bar has everything. The ground floor restaurant is top notch and the menu is always changing and evolving so you'll never get bored, and they'll deliver to your room if you prefer. They also have a café on the ground floor with great coffee and all sorts of snacks, fresh fruit, and other drinks. Gym on the second floor is nice, and I found a piano to play just outside. The gym also has a good drinking water filter, cold and hot. The entire building is stone/concrete, so every room is very quiet. The blackout curtains in the room actually work and seal off the light from outside entirely. Minibar in the rooms with all manner of cold drinks and adult beverages and various snacks and candy. The beds are amazing as are the pillows. I have lower back issues that come and go, but I always sleep well and wake up refreshed when I'm here. I wish I had one of these beds and some of these pillows at home. Most of the time I don't get rejuvenating sleep, but I always do here. Even if the day is so long I only get 4-5 hours these beds fix me right up. The shower is nice. Adjustable pressure, nice soap if you don't bring your own, and all the towels are really nice, too. Ice on 6 and 12 if you need it. Seriously, a very nice hotel. I stayed here the first time for convenience for where I was going that trip. I have stayed here exclusively when in DC ever since because I had such a great experience and have had a great experience every single time. I've always stayed here in king bed rooms. As nice as they are, I can't imagine how nice the suites must be in this hotel. I'm tempted to try one every time I stay, but I'm too cheap. haha

This hotel was great overall! The young lady who checked me in, I believe Olivia was her name, forgive me if incorrect - was super helpful and vibrant w great energy. I needed help from the front desk a few separate times during my two night stay and I knew every time I saw her there Id get great service with a smile! Those are the type of employees businesses need to value and keep around...and train and promote on customer care!

Amazing Experience at The Madison!|I had an absolute blast during my visit to The Madison! From the moment we walked in, my girlfriend and I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Our waiter, Abdul, was fantastic—attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. He made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. ||The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely amazing. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. We left feeling completely satisfied and can’t wait to return. ||If you’re looking for excellent food and exceptional service, The Madison is the place to be. Thank you, Abdul, for making our night so special!

The room is fine, but just fine. Pretty disappointed with the service. There aren’t coffee makers in the rooms (they do provide free coffee down in the lobby), the refrigerator is full of overpriced mini bar items, and if you ask to have it cleared so you can store your own items in the fridge they tell you that you have to pay an additional $25 to rent a refrigerator. Breakfast also isn’t included, but you can pay a whopping $30 for the mediocre “breakfast buffet”. Not a lot of value for the money, especially when it’s supposed to be a nicer hotel
