When I say, "Hampton inn in Fresno" what comes to mind for you?

Yes, that is exactly what ya got here. Solidly OK.

Pros: Staff were kind and helpful, parking is free, they have a free breakfast, and the rooms are fine.

Cons: walls are fairly thin, while breakfast was free it wasn't "good"

So yeah, solid three stars. If you just need a room and the price is right, then you're probably good to go.

Great staff! Always willing to help us. I’ve been staying here for weeks and they’ve always made our stay wonderful. Their customer service it’s amazing. They let us use the gym at any time due to work and when we are back from dinner or work the main door it’s not locked like at the previous hotel we stayed at. The night auditor has been wonderful. Thanks for your hospitality!

My husband used to be a Hampton regular for business trips so has visited many properties. This one is not bad, but below par for the flag.|Staff is nice and accommodating. |Location convenient to airport with on demand shuttle with long hours. Otherwise not much in nearby surroundings (like restaurants).|First room had very noisy air conditioning. Second room a/c was OK, so test and move rooms before you settle in. Tried to set on steady low fan for white noise but a/c still clunked on/off. Windows do not open.|Bed comfortable.|Cleanliness OK but starting mold in bath.|Breakfast bare bones and hot food only lukewarm. Early to go bags not ready.

The room I stayed in smelled like feet, and I had to go get air fresheners to cover the stink. Was nice and clean otherwise. Hallways also have a pet smell- maybe they need to deep clean the carpet. Went to use the pool, it had algae in it, told the front desk girl and she did not seem to care. Not the Hampton Inn standards I have been accustomed to. I would not have booked here knowing the pool was unusable.

It doesn't help that my stay coincided with the Crowd Strike IT Data disruption. Room keys weren't working so staff had to open rooms for each guest. You could sense their frustration. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Watery scrambled eggs that were warm at best. I chose this Hampton Inn as it was the best location for my stay.

“Stay at your own risk” was the managers words reaction to my cars brake in this morning. I was notified at 7AM this morning my car was broken into. At the time of writing this(9:30AM) they have yet to clean up the glass from the parking lot so I can leave.

Keep in mind I am parked right up front next to Diamond parking. If they tell you they have security parking they Do Not!

Very nice rooms, but the outside area is less suited to traveling with a dog. No shade and barely any grass.
Our car got ant infested in the parking lot.

The staff that I met was really nice. The rooms are your standard Hampton Inn rooms. I always sleep good here!
